My name is Brooklynn, I'm 16 years old and Suzie was my mom. She was the most caring woman who had all of the warmth and love to give. My childhood was spent with my mom and dad who both strove to create the best life possible for me. We were a very happy family who spent a majority of our hours together. Our lives were changed three years ago when mom's alcoholism began to errupt. She was told by doctors that one more drink could mean the end of her life. The disease was too strong. Suzie passed away on August 25, 2019 after fighting for three years with alcoholism, changing my dad and I's lives forever.
